Washi Masking Tape
The best thing about school, work and desk space? Supplies!! Stuff like multi-colored staples, gel pens and today’s best thing, Japanese paper tape, make the mundane pretty beautiful. This ultrathin adhesive looks more like rice paper than your average masking tape and comes in the beautiful origami-grade shades and patterns, making it the perfect tool to personalize bedroom furniture, punk up accessories, mend a busted bag–oh and of course, step up traditional gift wrap jobs. Lately, we’ve been decorating day bags and clutches with symbols (crowns, anarchy signs) or a mantra of the day ( “Up Your Guts” or “God Save Edward Tillman Middle”. And the best part? The sticky stuff peels off clean, leaving our leather, wood and plastics absolutely pristine.
